Information will be in the form of links, articles, reviews and even advertising that has real relevance to Australian SME's (Small-Medium Enterprises). Pages for Marketing, Australian Made/owned Associations and some 'killer' online tools for small business will be posted very soon, the pages are nearing completion. We will also look to acknowledge great pages and products with awards for innovation. I was just sent it from a friend and had to watch it again and then again and then could not help but forward it on! Small business does not have the budget to do something of this size but hopefully gets everyone thinking about doing that 'something different' |

Cool Company Awards '08 |

Australian Anthill Magazine have had their 3rd Annual 'Cool Company Awards'. The 'Cool Company Awards', I just had to write it again, brilliant! An award that any business would love to receive and have the ongoing 'Cool' cred that goes along with it. Just take a look at some of the categories: Commercial Creativity, Global Growth, Social Capitalist, Micro-Business, the X-Factor, and the Big Kahuna Award. The awards are open to companies that reside in Australia, are at least 60% Australian owned, have been operating for more than 12 months as at 01 Jan '08 and is not a franchise, although franchisors are eligible. Check out the top 50 'Cool Companies' for 2007 & 2008. |

Australian Home Based Business Awards '08 |

 The Australian Home Based Business Awards have come and gone again this year and really showed the quality of business within the sector. Brenda Thomson from Networking World has taken out the Honours this year.
The Federal Minister for Small Business, Independent Contractors and the Service Economy, the Hon. Dr Craig Emerson M.P presented the awards.(Full title left in just so you know who he is). All home based business out there should seriously look at entering these awards and any others that can gain you great recognition with little effort on your part, apart from being a great business to begin with. |
